Nicholas is the Director of A STUDY IN SCARLET

Nicholas is also the artistic director of the Old Red Lion Theatre – one of London’s leading off west end venues. His tenure has included overseeing transfers of productions to both Off-Broadway, and the West End. This has included THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST (Old Red Lion in the West End, Theatre Royal Haymarket), KISSING SID JAMES (Old Red Lion Theatre, 59E59) and THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG (Old Red Lion Theatre & Mischief Theatre, Trafalgar Studio’s)

Directing credits include THE FAVORIT (Old Red Lion Theatre), THE REVENGER’S TRAGEDY (Old Red Lion Theatre) awarded Time Out Critics Choice, THE NATIVITY GOES WRONG (Reading Rep, College Theatre), Chaika Casino (.dash, Theatre Delicatessen), AND NOTHING TURNED ITSELF INSIDE OUT (.dash, Petmans).

He is a graduate of the Central School of Speech and Drama, and read English and Philosophy at the University of Manchester.
