David trained at The Poor School in London, where he played Dafydd in A Chorus of Disapproval and Don Peppino in Saturday Sunday Monday. He was in The Challenging Tide at Theatro Technis, Life as a Foreign Language in the Sitcom Trials and Are we Nearly There Yet? at the Actors Centre. He was crowd in Inherit the Wind at the Old Vic, but did get a couple of lines one night due to illness!

Before acting, David studied Visual Arts at Salford University, making videos, and wrote several plays for and with Lightning Ensemble: Courting Disaster, Struck and Losing It.

He was also one of the original young writers at Soho Theatre in 2000. He regularly posts video and song on youtube as filimboUK.
