Amy gained a degree in Performing Arts from the University of Winchester, before going on to train at Drama Studio London.

Theatre credits include Danny The Champion of the World (Birmingham Stage Company - UK Tour) AngelRust with The River People (Total Theatre Award Winners, Edinburgh 09), Man in the Moon (Albany Theatre), It's Only Make Believe (Upstairs at the Gatehouse), As You Like It and The Tempest (Pendley Shakespeare Festival), Better Late (Grange Court Theatre), and The Ashtray Project (Upstairs at the Gatehouse).

Amy has also recently enjoyed doing some rehearsed readings of new writing at The Royal & Derngate Theatre, Northampton as part of the Theatre Writing Partnership.
