Tom Daplyn trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, graduating in 2001. Since then he has worked in theatre, television and film and, in 2005, became a founding member of Tacit theatre.

His credits include: Martin in Exploits - E.K.F. Productions, Jake in Casualty - BBC, Joby in Little Baby Nothing - The Bush, and Dorian in A Picture of Dorian Gray - Bury St Edmunds Theatre Royal.

Credits with Tacit include Alceste in Le Misanthrope, Valmont in Les Liaisons Dangereuses, and Sideway in Our Country's Good.
